Set up in December 2001 as a spin-off of IMEC, Photovoltech has the backing of its shareholders Total and GDF SUEZ. Using state-of-the-art high-tech equipment, Photovoltech manufactures crystalline silicon solar cells. Its special texturisation production process delivers cells that combine an outstandingly uniform appearance with high efficiencies.
